This is for an art trade with
 . The quality is pretty poor since it's a photo(and crappilty rendered on this computer), but hopefully I can get it scanned.I ended up drawing his character maybe three times before I settled on this pose. The others were either awkward or just not interesting. I, of course, say that the cliche is uninteresting(which sadly befell me many a time). I was pondering a new "style" for me to master as my own... a cross between realism and anime. The overall feel would be anime, but many aspects(including shading) would seem otherwise. Then, above what would normally be "smooth" shading would be the typical "sketch" shading, which has always appealed to me. I'm not sure how visible that is here. Oh well. Might I say that his character has got to be one of the sexiest males I've ever drawn? |
